Our children have been called
"The Sickest Generation."
Our 501(c)(3) foundation "Hee Haw for Health" was created on behalf of the families struggling with childhood illnesses of PANDAS, PANS, Autism and related encephalopathies and autoimmune disorders by supporting and fostering education, awareness, resources, therapies, treatments, and research.
In 2010, a study found that approximately "43% of US children (32 million) currently have at least 1 of 20 chronic health conditions assessed, increasing to 54.1% when overweight, obesity, or being at risk for developmental delays are included".¹ Rates of chronic illness continue to climb, such as is the case with Autism², autoimmune disorders³ ⁴ and developmental disabilities⁵.
Our children have been dubbed The Sickest Generation⁶.
First Hand Experience
Our family experienced the increase in chronic illness first-hand when both of our daughter's were diagnosed with autoimmune diseases.
In 2014, a case of strep throat caused our oldest daughter's immune system to mistakenly attack her brain, at age 6 she was diagnosed with PANDAS disease (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disease Associated with Strep Throat). The top doctors in the nation said their "best guess was antibiotics every day for the next 13 years."
Their "best guess" wasn't good enough.
There is no silver bullet for childhood illness
The journey is different for everyone.
In 2021, just a few years after our oldest daughter's PANDAS diagnosis, our youngest was in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with a diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes, in life threatening Ketoacidosis.
Both of our children now have "rare" childhood diseases, never seen in our families generations before them.
Through these trials, we have been blessed to meet many heroic families struggling to put the pieces of their child's health back together.
We understand the challenges of childhood illness.
Wealth should never be a prerequisite for health.

So, we started one of the first Donkey Dairies in America, providing donkey milk for children across the USA.
